Juliette Goglia is a young actress/singer/dancer, born on September 22, 1995, in Burbank, California. She made her movie debut at the age of 7 in the film “Garfield”, and later that year, she went on to make her television debut as “Little Girl God” for 2 seasons on the wonderful CBS drama “Joan of Arcadia”. Juliette then continued to work constantly in television, doing many recurring and guest starring episodes on all the top shows, including “That’s So Raven”, “Two and a Half Men”, “Desperate Housewives”, “Veronica Mars”, “Ugly Betty”, “Hannah Montana”, “ER”, “Private Practice”, “Past Life”, “Shake It Up”, “The Finder” , “Good Luck Charlie”, “A Grandpa For Christmas” (a Hallmark musical written for Juliette!) and “CSI”.
On CSI, Juliette played Hannah West, a 12 year old (although Juliette was only 10 at the time) genius murderer. The episode, “The Unusual Suspect” was so well received by the fans of CSI, that they all clamored for her character to return to the show! So a year and a half later, when the producers needed a criminal so upsetting to Sara (Jorja Fox) that she would leave the team, they brought Hannah West back. Playing Hannah West has always been one of Juliette’s favorite characters, and she certainly hopes CSI will bring her back to see what has happened in this strange girl’s life!
Another wonderful, unforgettable, favorite character for Juliette is Poppy, the 12 year old foul-mouthed business wunderkind from Will Gluck’s hilarious cheerleading film “Fired Up!”. Mr. Gluck also used Juliette in his next film, the fabulous “Easy A”. Other films for Juliette include “Cheaper By the Dozen 2″, “Inside Out”, the award winning AFI short “Stakeout”, and most recently, “Young Mr. Ryan” for Funny or Die.
Juliette is also an accomplished singer/songwriter. She wrote and recorded her first song at age 9! Juliette’s rock band, “Topanga”, won many local Battle of the Bands as well as an L.A. Music award for best female vocalist. Juliette is currently working on her first CD of original songs. She has also been appearing in many theatrical productions in Los Angeles, performing in “Curse of the Starving Class” by Sam Shepard, “A Young Lady of Property” by Horton Foote, and musicals such as “Boogie Nights” by Paul Thomas Anderson, and “Little Miss Scrooge” by John Caird/Paul Gordon.
Juliette is also a triple-threat performer, having an extensive dance background, including ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and tap. She grew up performing in many dance competitions, and was crowned “Junior Miss Starpower” and won many awards and trophies before having to scale back her dance activities to allow more time for her professional acting career.
Juliette is currently a senior in high school, with straight A’s and tons of homework! She is extremely close to her family, and loves spending time with her older sister and brother. She is a wacky, fun-loving, well grounded teenager who absolutely loves being an actor. Please stay tuned to watch this bio grow!
